Outing - Fort Langley

Fort Langley is a picturesque riverfront town in Fraser Valley. It is a popular site for filming due to its historic architecture and small-town character. Its landmark Community Hall together with lots of cute colonial-syle buildings have been featured in movies and TV shows.

Glover Road is the main popular shopping street that goes through the centre of Fort Langley. Its selection of vintage shops, galleries, breweries and eateries attract both tourists and residents of Langley.

On that day, Fort Langley is also hosting a day of celebration to commemorate James Douglas's multicultural legacy through Black, Scottish, Metis and Indigenous arts, food, music and dance.

This outing could offer you a great opportunity to practise Architecture, Street and Event Photography. To register for this outing, please email outings@nwphoto.org or go to New Westminster Photography Club Facebook page.
