YUMMM!!! — Image Comments

Who hasn't looked in a magazine and found a photo of food that made your mouth water? Most of you have unless you are like my husband who wishes he could take a pill to fuel his furnace, he says, rather that waste time sitting eating - go figure LOL.

Although professional food photographers use all kinds of tricks to make something look wonderful and most times are not edible, you don't have to go that far. However you go about it, remember that the three most important things to pay attention to when you shoot food are:

1. Good Lighting 2. Strong Focus 3. No Clutter

The point of food photography is to draw in the viewer and make his or her stomach growl. Food photography is all about the details. The food you choose to photograph should be perfect, and the lighting just so. Then again, your photo might be interesting with imperfections.

Here is a link to a wonderful article on how-to.
