Good sharp focus. Is the role being broken the rule of thirds.
    Suggestions:
My eye kept looking for more colour contrast.

    Strengths:
A bit of mystery in the background - the world seems to stop mid-photo. B&W was a good choice for this one.
    Suggestions:
This shows the power of the thirds rule. If the path was at one side, the eye might be encouraged to stay a while.

A good, moody scene, with the eye led down the central path, to the turreted building and into the distant mist. Using the darker, foliaged side areas as framing also worked well, balancing the composition.
    Suggestions:
It could have used a touch more contrast - but where was the 'broken rule'?

    Strengths:
Great composition. It has a wonderful feeling to it - both moody and peaceful. The walkway draws your eye into the photo.
    Suggestions:
Not sure what rule was broken?

    Strengths:
Lovely -- the various and grey shades create real mood and atmosphere. Especially like the composition with the castle-type structure occupying the left background.
    Suggestions:
Am I thick? I'm failing to grasp the Breaking the rules" part. Apologies if it's obvious.

    Strengths:
Pleasing mysterious mood. Between the mist and the unusual architecture, it almost looks like a movie set.
    Suggestions:
Guessing that a rule of photography is broken, but it is too subtle for me to spot.
