Well, there is movement. It does adhere to the theme I suppose but it is not really a great photo. Would not hang it on my wall.
    Suggestions:
It is just my opinion but I think people too often get caught up trying to fulfill the theme rather than making a good photo. After all, this is a photo club.
    Response:
Thank you for your opinion as art is subjective. I took this photo last year and it has been popular amongst my friends.

Good shutter speed to capture the bird. The fully expanded wings nicely show of the colour of the bird.
    Suggestions:
Depending on the flight, in a few seconds the bird most likely would be against the solid sky colour.
    Response:
Actually I did have another where the bird was fully in the sky but I preferred the dark background of the tree to highlight the edge of the wings which disappeared in the sky.

Nice capture! The fog adds a great dreamlike atmosphere to the photo.
    Suggestions:
I think I'd like to see more of the fog and less of the green grass.

No doubt there is movement here. You had to be either fast or good to catch this image.
    Suggestions:
If this were my photo I may have cropped it a little differently. Square cropped photos are usually used to show lack of direction. I would have cropped off the bottom, maybe just include the smaller group of birds. It looks like there is a tree to the right so I assume that is why you cropped it the way you did. Anyway,,, just a thought.

    Strengths:
There is a good sense of motion in the bird, and a strong mood in the image itself, with the trees disappearing into the fog.
    Suggestions:
The flying bird feels so out of proportion to the birds on the ground that, with nothing else to give a sense of depth, it appears pasted in. With only one bird in the air, there appears little relationship to the rest of the scene. Does the foreground grass add to the story? Crop it right out and there is quite a strong image there with one strong subject and the soft sky and trees.

    Strengths:
Whoa! Great timing! Good depth of filed, clarity, contrast and colour. The soft foggy sky is very nice. And the seagulls on the ground so still in contrast to this one flying past. Great shot!
    Suggestions:
I really don't think it needs improvement.
