    Strengths:
Warm personal shot of the woman.
    Suggestions:
The light fixture in her hair is a distraction for the eye. Have you considered adjusting the contrast to create more definition?
    Response:
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I see now, cropping the top part of the photo would be better.

This is so good. The photo has such depth, both literall and figuratively.
    Suggestions:
Perhaps crop it so that the light isn't coming out of Grandma's head.
    Response:
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I see that cropping the photo would be better, to remove the light fixture (which is odd I did not notice it before!) from Grandma's head.

Her expression is priceless! Her face is perfectly in focus.
    Suggestions:
I am distracted by the fluorescent lamp in her hair. I think cropping out the lights would make a better shot.

Fun moment! A very intimate portrait beautifully composed. The balance between the main subject and the women in the background is perfect, and really adds to the story. A wonderful interpretation of the theme ... Nancy
    Suggestions:
The very bright lights on the ceiling are a major distraction. A slight crop to the left could get rid of one. It should be possible to clone out the middle one. Alternately, a bit of selective brightening and a touch of selective clarity to the face of the main subject to hold the eye where it belongs.
