Lovely moment! Beautifully rich colours; well chosen depth of field to keep detail throughout

    Suggestions:

The vignetting is a touch distracting; perhaps a lighter touch.

    Response:

I studied the photo for a long time and I just dont get your comment about the vignetting and that it is distracdting.  I did not add vignetting. The very slight dark corners of the photo is the result of photo editing   in order to get the beautifully rich colours . Otherwise I would be criticized that the photo is dull and lifeless.    I hardly think it is distracting.  It seems that you and other club members are using this "distracting" term  because you  feel  the need to make some negative comment so  you use the distracting comment  because you cant come up with anything that is more descriptive or meaningful.  I am surprised you did not say that the red garment worn by the person in the photo was distracting.

The people create a story that wouldn't have existed if you just photographed the pumpkins.  The red hoody is another draw.

    Suggestions:

I don't see the purpose for the vignetted corners/edges.  I think we can find the main subject without their help.  Also, maybe take a sec to tweak the horizon.  It may have been a slope, but it just "feels" crooked at the top.

    Response:

I did not see the need to adjust the horizon as the terrain  was naturally sloped so  I decided to not tamper with nature by artificially changing the slope.

I thought in scenes where the sky meets the water the horizon may need to be made level due to human error but not in this case.

The inclusion of "pickers" makes it interesting.

    Response:

Oh, Oh;  not good when someone comments the photo is interesting; It is the kiss of death. in photo competitions.
