  1. Theme
    Stormy WeatherCompleted Dec 7, 2017

This is the time of year when we get incredible storms on the coast. High winds, dark skies, massive rain clouds and colourful sunrises. This theme may be a little intimidating being outside but by being creative, beautful photos can be taken. Through windows, under bridges, or anywhere else safe from the elements. I have added a link with lots of info on how to take this kind of image. Good luck.

Favourite Christmas SongSubmissions due Dec 31, 2017

Happy Holiday greetings to everyone. Hard to believe that Christmas is a few weeks away but here it is. This month's challenge is to find an image that portrays either a title or part of your favourite Christmas song. It could be classic like "White Christmas" or a newer song such as "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus". Hopefully you will have fun with this one.

In case you are stumped for a song, here is a list of popular Christmas songs.

  4. Meeting

You asked and we listened.  There has been a lot of request for more opportunity to share images, and to give and receive constructive commentary.  So, we are starting 2018 with a Members’ Sharing for Feedback Night.

    Agenda:

    • Theme: Stormy Weather

We will be seeing the top 10 images from the November theme - Stormy Weather.

    • Members' Sharing For Feedback

Members are invited to submit as many as 2 images of your choice by way of the Dropbox by 11 PM December 30th.   For each image, please come prepared to tell us a bit about what your intent was in making the photograph, maybe about the challenges you had to overcome and what you did to meet those challenges.  Then, members will provide some constructive critique.
