  6. Meeting

This evening's meeting will be all about exploring images we think might be suitable for entry into the North Shore Challenge photo competition. Similar to our Image Exploration evening on October 3, 2019, we will discuss submitted images and give the makers feedback prior to the competition selection on February 4, 2020.

    Agenda:

    • An Evening of Image Exploration

When photographers hear the words photo competition they often tune out, feel intimidated or even become annoyed. We all have our reasons for pursuing photography and making images and these reasons should be respected. There is no denying that competitions are not everyones cup of tea. Having said that, some photographers wish to put forth their images for judging to see where their photography stands in regards to their peers. It's not so much about "winning" as it challenging ourselves to improve as photographers.
